Welcome blog followers! You really must have reached ultimate boredom to be following this blog... but don't let me deter you... follow away!
A brief introduction to the point of this blog:
This is merely a photo blog following the everyday normalities (if you can call them that) within our mansion... errr, I mean our apartment. That's me and Andy I'm referring to. Chez Alexandra (or Alexandra House as it is officially known on the Leicester map) is an old bootlace factory dating back to the late 1800's. It is a marvelous building which we now inhabit alongside about 300 other people. We are blessed to be residing in the 164th apartment which not only boats a ridiculous 10ft high ceiling in the bedroom, but also the original built in safes... perfect for shoe storage. We also are lucky enough to have not one but TWO bathrooms... one of which has been lit soley by candles for over a whole week now as the light fitting is well... fucked. We have a splendid effect above our en-suite shower better known as shoddy peeling paintwork and the views of the right hand wall of the Athena out the window are simply breathtaking! Can't complain though... it's a darn sight better than the last place.
